March Update
We have completed our study of Human Rights and are finishing up our Black History Unit. Next we will be studying Law.
Sept 15/21
Students are diving into our unit on Government! We will be studying Canadian Government and completing a Student Vote with the upcoming election!
October 10
We have completed our Government unit and a study of Canadian Identity. We are now diving into our unit on Immigration. Be sure to check the gradebook for updates on marks and assignments.
November 10
After completing our study on Immigration and Canadian Culture we are diving into Human Rights. Students will be reading and considering many current events and researching cases of Human Right abuses and privilege's.
December- Human Rights are being studied. Students have analyzed the Charter of Rights and Freedoms and real violations. We did a virtual tour of the Canadian Museum of Human Rights. In January we will be finishing up our unit on Human Rights.
