March Update
We have completed our units on The Enemy (novel study), Sexy Responses (detailed paragraph writing), and now have started our Black History study of Dear Martin (novel study).
October 10
We have completed our Short Story unit and begun Of Mice and Men (classic novel) be sure to check the Gradebook for student-progress on all assignments.
November 10
We have completed our Novel Study (Of Mice and Men). Report cards are coming home soon! Be sure to review them with your student. Coming up in ELA is a focus on writing with textual evidence, making quality statements, public speeches and some Zombie Reading!
December-- We are continuing our novel study, The Enemy. Student are working hard on their structured paragraphs and in January we will be focusing on annotations.
